Review: Kibble Talk by Cynthia Port
What would you do if suddenly you could talk to dogs? Would you freak out or make the best of it? Tawny does both when she gains this ability after eating a piece of dog food on a bet! This leads her to a funny adventure as she helps her giant dog become a lap dog.
This book kept a smile on my face from start to end. The characters are well written for their ages, which makes them come alive. I really enjoyed getting to know Tawny and her family, but most of all her dog, Dinky.
Dinky truly makes the story with his quick wit and emotional outbursts. It's hard not to fall in love with him and his antics. And making him a great dane was the best choice ever.
This book will keep the interest of any kid ages 8-12 and I admit I loved it too. Cynthia Post does an excellent job of keeping the story flowing by adding in the argument between Tawny and her best friend and ties it up nicely in the end.
Well done Mrs. Porter I can't wait to read book 2!
I received this book free in return for a review.

Thank you, Stephanie! I'm so glad you enjoyed my story. Dinky is my favorite too - he's quite a handful.
