I love getting things from Amazon. Whether it's tampons or books it feels like Christmas every time the UPS guy knocks on the door. There are some added bonuses to ordering from Amazon. Seriously, we get tons of entertainment from each shipment. My kids could care less about the items that were sent. They want the boxes and those balloon packing bag thingies. Those are their favorite. They sneak up behind each other and squeeze them til they pop, causing the other person to jump. Then everyone laughs as if it's the funniest thing ever even though it's been done a thousand times. It's really not that funny when they do it to me.
The shipping paper they sometimes have is great for coloring on. I have a fridge full of Amazon paper pictures! Everything from purple trees to yellow elephants proudly displayed on our recycled paper.
The boxes can be used to hold everything from match box cars to toddlers. Ah yes, how they love the big boxes. I sometimes think toddlers are like cats and will try to get into any box whether or not the fit matters not.
Bubble wrap! Do I even have to go into detail on this one? Have you ever met someone who can resist a good sheet of bubble wrap?
I think I'm going to try to turn the smaller boxes into building bricks by painting them. Then the kids can make walls, and house. What do you think?
