When a Hippo shows up for gymnastics class everyone is shocked. How can such a big hippo do all the flips and routines they need to do? The class soon finds out how wrong they were to judge him!
The hippo shows his skills on everything from the balance beam to the floor routines. The whole class is impressed by all he can do. The watch in amazement as he flips through the air and does splits.
I really enjoyed this book. It teaches children not to judge people by their size or assume someone can't do something. The illustrations are appealing to children and help them follow along with the story nicely. Everything about this book is well done and impressive. I will be reading this one to the kids over and over again!
