Leo is a superhero. He even has a superhero suit his mom made him and some cool superhero accessories. He's prepared to do good when his cat wakes him up early one Sunday morning. His cat Milkshake, leads him to a mouse that needs help. It's up to Leo to save the day.
This book will keep the attention of children and make them want to keep turning the pages to see what happens next. Leo will make any child feel like they can be a superhero too. It teaches children that super powers don't make the hero, but good deeds do.
The illustrations are bright and appealing. The animals are adorable and Leo is adorable. The detail on each page from the pictures on the wall to the overflowing garbage can in Leo's room make the story come alive.
This is a well written story that I would recommend for children age 4 to 10. Older children will be able to read this independently with no issues.
I was given a copy of this book free in return for a review. All opinions are my own.
